Message	claims that they are the cat's meow, claiming that they are a Winston Cup quality piece. Mine are due within a few days (aren't they always), and I will be able to maybe post pictures or comment somehow, although I admit that I am not a piston expert. From what I can tell, the JE shelf piston has been 9:1 for some time. I wouldn't use those if I were you - get what you really need while rebuilding, because I feel that you would regret it later if you went to higher compression.
